The Host

"Eivi" Yaowapha Saenpanya

Hosted by Eivi, a Thai native from the northern province of Phrae, where these flavors are part of everyday life. Her approach to cooking is rooted in tradition and family recipes, with an artistic touch that turns each dish into a small work of art. This experience is about sharing Thai food as it has always been prepared — naturally, openly, and with attention to detail.

The Setting

The experience takes place in the emblematic La Llotja district, one of Palma’s most historic and centrally located neighborhoods with a strong culinary character.

The setting itself is a modern, open kitchen at Moltak Lab, specifically designed for participatory cooking and shared experiences. A large central island brings everyone together, encouraging interaction, conversation, and freedom of movement.

Bright, calm, and intentionally functional, the space supports the experience without distraction — allowing guests to focus on cooking, learning, and enjoying the moment together.

Good to know

This experience is designed as a shared, hands-on evening in the kitchen and takes place on selected dates only.

Sessions are hosted for small groups of 4 to 8 participants, allowing enough space, interaction and a relaxed rhythm throughout the evening.

All bookings are made in advance via the booking calendar. Availability varies, and dates are released periodically.

Dishes we cook together:

1. Por Pia Tod – Fried Spring Rolls Golden Crispy Thai spring rolls fried with vegetables and glass noodles. A deliciaus, light, crispy and flavourful appetizer.
2. Som Tam Thai – Green Papaya Salad A refreshing and spicy Thay salad made with green papaya, lime juice, pal sugar, hili nad peanuts

3. First Course:
Tom Yum Goong – Spicy Shrimp Soup A sweet and sour soup made with shrimp, lemongrass, galangal and lime juice. – Thailands most famous dish.
OR
Tom Kha Gai – Coconut Chicken Soup A smooth and creamy coconut soup with chicken, galangal, lemongrass and lime leaves. A comforting and aromatic.

4. Second Course:
Pad Thai – Thai Stir-Fried Noodles Tailand`s most famous noodle dish, shimp, tamarind sauce, tofu, egg and peanuts.
OR
Pad Kra Pao Moo – Stir-fried Basil with Pork A classic Thai stir-fry with minced pork, holy basil and chili. Simple, spicy and intensely aromatic.

5. Khao Nieu Mamuang – Mango sticky rice A much-loved Thai dessert with sweet sticky rice, rich coconut cream and ripe mango. Simple, natural annd unforgettable.

Is this a cooking class or a dinner?

It’s a hands-on culinary experience. Guests cook together, learn about the dishes and share the evening at the table.

They are ideal for friends, couples, or small private groups who wish to share a meaningful evening together. They are also a special choice for celebrations such as birthdays, bachelorette parties, or small corporate gatherings looking for something distinctive and personal.

The experience particularly resonates with travelers and expatriates who value cultural depth over typical tourist activities. From time to time, it also attracts professionals such as yacht crews, private chefs, or creatives seeking inspiration and a fresh perspective on Thai cuisine.

Each session is designed for small groups of 4 to 8 participants.

No prior experience is required. The focus is on participation, curiosity and enjoying the process.

In a private cooking space in La Lottja, Palma. The exact address is shared after booking.

The experience takes approximately 3 -4 hours.

Dietary requirements can be discussed in advance.

At the moment, our classes are available from Monday to Thursday. However, if you are interested in a different day, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

The experience is exclusively for participants aged 18 and over.
